- visually inspected and found radiator cap to be broken . pressure tested coolant system and found no leaks and holds pressure . replace radiator cap and took it for a drive notice car over heats . pulled over and turned heater on high and open hood and notice engine coolant fan no working only the ac fan . checked all relays and all work like they should . checked fan for power and ground found present . fan is not working . recommended to replace fan .
- removed engine coolant fan with new one and rechecked found fan to be working like it should and no further over heating at this time .
- drained oil . replaced oil filter added 5 qts of oil . reset oil life .
