- Found low oil pressure light on visually inspected vehicle found no damage to the oil pressure switch or harness. With a scan tool check oil pressure at idle engine warm up/ normal operating temperature, Found oil pressure to drop down to 6 psi when reeving engine to 2500 rpm oil pressure will go up to 38 psi . Check engine oil level is at full mark. Recommend tear down and inspect cause of failure to low oil pressure. Found low coolant level pressure test cooling system found lower heater hose leaking. Recommend replacing lower heater hose
