- ran obd 2 checks and found code p0304 for cylinder 4 misfire . turned on car and on live data found cylinder #4 to have continues misfires . checked ignition coil found no visual damage . removed coil to inspect spark plug and found spark plugs to be worn out and full of carbon build up . recommend to replace all 4 spark plugs and ignition coil on cylinder #4 and perform a GDI Induction service and oil change .
- removed all 4 ignition coils. and replaced all 4 spark plugs and replaced ignition coil on cylinder #4 with new one. after repairs test drove and found no further faults at this time .
- removed air intake boot and with car turned on at idle fed gdi system cleaned threw the throttle body .
- drained oil and replaced oil filter . added 5 qts of oil . reset the oil life. put air on all 4 tires to door spec .
