Ran OBD 2 checks on code p0300 for engine random misfire . ran obd2 checks on p0451 for fuel tank pressure sensor performance. ran obd2 checks on p2138 for accelerator pedal position sensor 1-2 correlation . recommended to start with replacing throttle body and programming . truck has no fuel to relearn or test drive
- replaced throttle body with new one and new gasket .
- reprogrammed throttle body and performed a crankshaft re learn . truck failed both . with live data checked throttle and found 5 volt reference was not present at throttle pedal . recommended to replace throttle pedal and relearn . replaced throttle pedal and relearned throttle body and crank shaft . truck runs like it should and does not go into reduce engine power anymore
