- removed rear left tire to access strut removed lower bolt and lower control arm then removed both nuts on top . installed new strut and reinstalled lower control arm and bolt and tighten both nuts on top . . recommended to replace in pairs for a smoother ride customer only want to replace driver side rear strut .
